The Federal University of Agriculture and Technology, Okeho (FUNATO) welcomes its pioneer students, with about 1,300 students expected to resume academic activities, the university’s PA to the Vice-Chancellor, Dr. Bolaji Olaomo, told OkeogunTV. He revealed that while some admissions are still under processing, the university has made arrangements to ensure a smooth start for the first batch of students.

According to Dr. Olaomo, all classrooms, laboratories, staff offices, and the library are fully prepared, and the school continues to upgrade its facilities. To accommodate students, FUNATO has partnered with local hostel owners, and applications for hostel accommodation have already been shared with students, some of whom have completed their applications.

He added that student registration is ongoing, and while a date for matriculation has not yet been officially fixed, the university management is working to ensure all administrative and academic processes are in place before the formal ceremony. The preparations reflect the university’s commitment to providing a conducive learning environment and a smooth academic start for its pioneer students.
